This clear to read panel shows the different programming choices that are available to you. When you find the one you want, just press the coffee icon in the Ring’s center. ESE Pods or Ground Coffee:
No ESE certified pods can be used with this machine. In fact, all of the Saeco Super Automatic espresso machines (Odea, Talea and Primea) require you to use ground coffee. This is why each of the models comes with a built-in ceramic disc grinder and Bypass Doser. Ceramic grinders are better than metal as the ceramic doesn’t get as clogged with the residue and oil that builds up from the beans.

Removable Drip Tray Features:
The Primea Ring is loaded - including a motorized and removable drip tray that uses Touch Lift Technology to move. Just press the drip tray’s button to set it in motion and release when you’ve reached the right height. The removable tray can be adjusted to fit almost any size cup. Standard espresso cups to tall milk glasses to regular coffee mugs all fit very well on the Saeco Primea Ring cappuccino espresso maker.
